What a wonderful evening! The Senior String Orchestra premiered David Knotts' Unicorn Dances, to commemorate the 600th Anniversary of John Carpenter. Old Dallingtonian Jorrit Donner-Wittkopf lead the orchestra and another Dallington boy, Dominic Stokes was on viola. This wonderful piece was followed by a stunning performance of the first movement of Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto in E minor, Op.64 with Jorrit as soloist. Thank you so much to Sarah Fletcher (Headteacher) and all at City of London School for hosting such an amazing evening and to the boys for doing such credit to themselves.
