Extended Provision - 7.40am to 6.00pm
Our Extended Provision comprises of Breakfast Club, After School Club, Enrichment Clubs & wrap-around from Enrichment Clubs.
We understand that it can be difficult for parents to get the right balance between work, family and free time. At Dallington we offer wrap around care before and after school giving you that much needed flexibility.
7:40 – 8:40am Children may attend Breakfast Club from 7.40 – 8.40am, when they will move to their classrooms. On arrival, a range of healthy breakfast choices will be available to the children, encouraging healthy eating habits and choices, as well as ensuring a mighty start to the busy day. These will include porridge, buttered toast & honey, fresh fruit, juice and milk. On registering your child, please make us aware of any allergies your child may have and special provision that may be necessary. After breakfast, staff will organise suitable activities to help the children begin their days, whether quiet play, 1:1 reading or helping children complete homework assignments. At 8.40am, all children will be delivered to their classrooms, along with any messages for the class teacher.
After School Club
3:30 – 6:00pm Children may attend from either 3.30 – 5.00pm or 3.30 – 6.00pm.
On arrival in After School Club, children will be offered a range of healthy snacks and drinks after putting away their bags and coats. Weather permitting, After School Club will involve a daily outdoor activities programme, including both free play and organised games. Staff will encourage enthusiastic engagement and inclusion at all times, as well as using their experience to judge when a child might need or prefer some quiet 1:1 time. Back in school, the indoor programme will include games, arts, crafts or cooking and homework support for older children. Our experienced staff will ensure a real diversity of provision that reflects the interests and needs of the children in the club.
3.30 - 5:00pm N.B. For the first half of Autumn 2020, the Enrichment Clubs on offer are Dallington FC & Multi-sports. Club staff will deliver and collect children to and from these clubs, as necessary.

Session rates include catering costs.
Please see above for our current session rates. We reserve the right to review these rates from time to time and will endeavour to give adequate notice of any forthcoming changes.
Pre-booking session blocks
Please book for a block of sessions to secure your child’s place. You can book for either the term, or whole year prior to the first day of term. Annual bookings attract a 5% discount. Booking annually for both Breakfast & After School clubs attracts a 10% discount.
36 weeks x 5 days, less 3 inset Mondays, 2 Bank Holiday Mondays (and 3 Half day Fridays for evening sessions). Details are on our website.
All ad-hoc bookings for Extended Provision must be made 24 hours in advance. At times, we understand that a place may be required in an emergency. Those families requiring the service should contact the school office before midday on the day. The office will then confirm if a space is available.
To safeguard your child, an application form must be completed prior to your child attending Extended Provision for the first time.
Payment and Refunds (non invoicing)
Extended Provision will be invoiced retrospectively, as are extras such as Trips. Once a booking has been made and you have committed to either an ad-hoc session or a block of sessions (a half term, full term or year) ‘refunds’ (non invoicing of sessions) will not be made. Fees will not normally be reduced or refunded as a result of absence due to illness or otherwise.
Withdrawal part-way through a term does not reduce the amount you owe to the School. The School's affairs are organised on a termly basis and it is not possible for you to reduce the amount of fees or supplemental charges due, or to obtain a refund of fees or supplemental charges, by your child's ceasing to attend part-way through a term.
Notice of Withdrawal
Should you wish to withdraw your child from any Extended Provision block booking, a term's notice is required or a term's fees in lieu are payable. This enables us to staff our provision accordingly.
We expect all children to be collected promptly at the end of their session (5pm or 6pm). There will be a late charge of £5 for collecting after this time. If parents/carers are not able to collect their child as planned, they must inform us immediately on 020 7251 2284.
