| Year 2 loves learning about endangered animals. This is a very compassionate and caring group of children. We have discussed, in much depth, how we as human beings can stop destroying rainforests and wasting large amounts of food. The children have showen excellent insight into how we have destroyed many animals’ habitats. We have learnt many new words and beliefs along the way. Their interest in our planet has grown and, as a teacher, it is a pleasure to observe. |

The children have been working on many fantasy stories and have jumped into pictures to describe the setting and imagine the characters that might live in its fantasy world. They have thought about fairies, unicorns, battles and magic crystals. Their imaginations have opened up to new worlds and mysteries. |
| During the rest of the term we will be diving down under the sea, to see what we can find! We are going down to the darkest depths of the sea and look at fish that don’t see the sun's light! It should be a lot of fun and the great part is…. we won’t get wet! | |
