What I liked about it was the costumes and the way it was unlike anything else I had ever seen. It was also very good at keeping the suspension and keeping you excited. I think The Nutcracker overall is amazing and exciting in every way.’ ‘It was an exciting and funny ballet. It was very different and unlike any other Nutcracker I have seen. It contained lots of new things but also did not have some traditional parts. I did miss the “around the world” part and the actual Nutcracker, but the new bits made it an interesting and dazzling performance.’ |

‘I found all of the actions quite easy to understand which made me feel like I was actually in it. It was very funny in some parts and was very well put together. I think that the costumes were very well put together and some of them were probably very hard to move around in.’ ‘My favourite parts were the music and the costumes. It makes me want to be a ballerina and I really enjoyed it…It was also the first time I’d seen a ballet live. I think it was good because it was really funny even though there was no talking. The best trip yet!’ ‘It takes the traditional version, gives it an exciting twist, bringing wit and fun to the drama which children find just great, as do the adults…….Tchaikovsky’s music was so calming, it melted down so well with the ballet.’ ‘It is amazing the way actors swing their partners around or show how their characters would feel in the situation with just movement...They made the play exciting by putting energy into it.’ |

than the original and it was a bit more exciting. They did leave out
some more classic bits, like the rats and the nutcracker looked more
like something from ‘Grease’ than a nutcracker with the
soldier’s uniform on.’ ‘The scenery was amazing. It was bright, colourful,
bold and beautiful.’ ‘I think that this is a really good ballet but it might be a bit better if they talked a little bit.’
