'Moon Themes'

These pictures of Turner's 'The Fighting Temeraire' were made following a visit to the National Gallery during our current project of 'Moon Themes'. This project included recording the lunar cycle and moon phases on a daily basis. Turner's painting shows a waxing crescent moon which is central to this allegorical painting.
