Literacy
Read and Respond
Year 4 has been reading and exploring the themes and the literacy learning objectives covered in The Sheep Pig by Dick King-Smith.


Science
We have been exploring living things and their properties during this term. The children have been learning about the seven states that show that something is alive. We are planning off-site visits that will increase the group’s understanding of these states.

Drama
All groups in Middle School are continuing to work together to perform William Shakespeare’s Midsummer Night’s Dream in the Summer Term. Year 4 are playing the parts of the faeries.

Art
Landscapes
Year 4 will be working with the rest of Middle School to create costumes for Midsummer Night’s Dream. The group will be working with a variety of materials and techniques over the course of the term to create headdresses and other elements of costume.
