Year 4 has been reading and exploring the themes in The Suitcase Kid
by Jacqueline Wilson. The group has created holiday diaries inspired
by the illustrations in the book.
Science
We have been exploring materials and their properties during this term.
The children have been learning that the three states of materials are
solid, liquid and gas. We have conducted experiments that explain the
differences between these three states
Drama
All groups in Middle School are working together to perform William
Shakespeare’s Midsummer Night’s Dream in the Summer Term.
Art - Landscapes
Year 4 has been working on landscapes this term. The group has explored
composition, observation and perspective. They have created paintings
inspired by The Avenue at Middelharnis by Meinhert Hobben. The group
will be working with other materials over the course of the term.
