'Fairy Tales'

One group has been looking at writing stories using traditional fairy tales. We have written our own books for World Book Day and invented riddles. We also designed and made shoes for Cinderella and Prince Charming to wear at the ball. We design and make perfect footwear for every occasion and are especially famous for our dancing glass slippers as worn by our Royal Patron HRH Cinderella.

The other group has been reading traditional fairy stories. Many of the fairy tales include castles and this has been a particular focus for the class. Part of the programme is to visit Leeds Castle where activities already started in the classroom can be continued in a real castle setting
