Directionality is an important part of understanding the world around us. It involves descriptive language as well as spatial understanding. Part of our topic is to programme a robot with simple vector instructions. We are able to tell it to go wherever we like and we are making a pathway for it to follow. As well as Rosie’s journey we have read Rudyard Kipling’s Jungle Book and followed Mowgli’s journey from the forest to the human village and his adventures on the way. Edward Lear’s Owl and the Pussycat has also provided us with another interesting journey to follow. |
