| This term our topic is "toys". The children have done observational drawings of their favourite toys. They are making games, such as snakes and ladders, which has contributed to their understanding of number, as well as developing their creative and artistic abilities. The observational drawings have helped them to describe their toys verbally, which has supported their descriptive language and their ability to speak publicly. |

The Tale of Two Bad Mice |
The class display is based on the story of Two Bad Mice by Beatrix Potter. The children have designed and painted wallpaper for the dolls house and are now in the process of making furniture and food. They also will be designing and making their own toys. |
