Membership is drawn normally from parents of children who are at the School or who have been at the school. Normally, Governors are nominated by the proprietors and elected by the board for a term of three years.

‘Current Parent Governors’ are elected in February each year for a period of one year by parents with children at the School following the ‘Meet the Governors’ meeting.

An annual ‘Meet the Governors’ meeting is held in the Summer Term for the pupils of the School. Two class representatives from each group in Middle School (7 years +) who have collected pupil’s issues and views in advance of the meeting, will be given the opportunity to present them to the Governors.

In addition to our ’Meet the Governors’ meeting, to keep you further informed, the Board of Governors write an annual newsletter to parents.
